Grading Period Dates

In order for grades to be averaged in the proper grading period, assignments and assessments must fall within the following dates.

• Semester 1: 8/11/2026 - 12/18/2026

• Q1: 8/11/2026 - 10/15/2026

• Q2: 10/19/2026 - 12/18/2026

• Semester 2: 1/05/2027 - 5/27/2027

• Q3: 1/05/2027 - 3/11/2027

• Q4: 3/15/2027 - 5/27/2027

Grading Scale

10-point grading scale: 

100-90 A

89-80 B

79-70 C

69-60 D

59-0 F

Assignments

Major:  3-5 Assignments

Minor:  8-12 Assignments

Homework:  4+ Assignments

Grade Verifications

• The appropriate grading scale is displayed

• No grades over 100

• The “Grade” and “%” columns match

• No empty grades (transfer grades entered)

• Email Grade Verifications to ghsgrades@greenville.k12.sc.us and complete the Grade Verifications and Grade Distributions Report
