Code of Conduct

Students must observe the Islamic Dress Code:

• Boys are encouraged to wear loose fitting long pants and shirts or T-shirts with sleeves.

• Girls (8+ years) are encouraged to wear hijab and loose fitting clothes covering their bodies such as loose fitting long pants/skirts and shirts with long sleeves.

***Clothing with inappropriate sayings or images is not permitted.

• Bring students to school on time and in a proper state of health, well groomed, dressed in accordance with the Islamic Dress Code, and prepared to class with pen/pencil, binder, textbooks, and completed homework assignments (if any)

• Encourage students’ positive attitude toward learning by emphasizing the importance of Islamic knowledge. 

• Reinforce students’ learning by reviewing with the students during the week at home the materials covered in class and following up on their homework assignments and Qur’an memorization. 

• Encourage students to observe the Islamic etiquette for behavior in dealing with teachers, school administrators, and fellow students. 

• Please be sure to label your students books and belongings. 

• Observe the Islamic etiquette for behavior in dealing with teachers, school administrators, and fellow students.

• Assume full responsibility for erroneous acts or bad behavior and accept disciplinary actions when applied. 

• Cell phones are not permitted to be used during class. 

• All students must participate in congregational prayers during the Weekend School.

Violations: Violation of Weekend School rules or policies will warrant a warning and if necessary suspension at the decision of the administration.
