My name is Callie Wentzky and this is my twelfth year at Paris Elementary.  This is my eighth year teaching resource at Paris.  I previously taught the primary ED self-contained class for four years.

I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Psychology from North Greenville University.  Before deciding to become a teacher, I was an ABA therapist for children with Autism as well as a classroom assistant at Buena Vista Elementary.  I received my Masters +30 from Converse College in 2014.  I am certified in Emotional Disabilities, Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, and Elementary Education.  I received my Ed.D. in K-12 Leadership from North Greenville University in December 2019.  I also have the Read to Succeed endorsement.  I am currently completing LETRS training.  I have completed training in SPIRE, Reading Horizons, TeachTown, and Zones of Regulation.

I previously taught four courses at North Greenville University in their Learning Disabilities add-on certification program in addition to my job at Paris.  I teach the Nature of the Exceptional Child and Education for Students with Disabilities at Anderson University.

My husband and I welcomed our daughter Arwen in October 2022.  We also have a German Shepherd named Grom.  We enjoy going for walks in our neighborhood, finding new tv shows to watch, trying new recipes, and watching the Gamecocks.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year with your child!
