Hi! My name is Donna Hubbard. I am a graduate of USC-Upstate with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I also have my Masters in Educational Technology from Lesley University. This is my 26th year of teaching, and my second year here at Heritage Elementary. I am so excited to be a part of the second grade team!
I have two children - Cheyenne (26) and Zachariah (22). Cheyenne is an auditor for an accounting firm in Mauldin. Zachariah is a senior at Lander University. His goal is to become a Physical Education Teacher. My husband, Eric, works in the Wastewater Treatment Lab at BMW. We also have a very spoiled Mini Poodle named Max, and two grand dogs - Moose (a Standard Poodle) and Scar (a English Cocker Spaniel). We have been married for 28 years.
In my free time I love to spend time with my family, read, binge watch shows on Netflix, and cross-stitching. College football is my favorite season - Go Tigers! (Clemson, that is). I also pull for NC State and UNC Tarheels since I am a North Carolina girl!
I believe that children learn in many different ways. Our classroom will be full of leaders, learners, and no limitations to what they can do and accomplish. We will have a great year!
