Homework will be given EVERY week, Monday-Thursday, in Reading and Math. Students may have projects for Social Studies and Science during the week as well. I will be sending home study guides for Social Studies and Science, so be on the look out for those!!

Unit 3 ( 6 weeks)- From Colony to State- The American Revolution, and South Carolina's role in the development of the New American nation.
Unit 4 (6 weeks)- The Civil War- life in the Antebellum period, causes & effects of the Civil War, and impact of Reconstruction in South Carolina.
Unit 5 ( 4 weeks)- Moving into a new Century- major development in South Carolina during the late 19th century and 20th century.
Unit 6 ( 3 weeks)- Growth & Change- major development in South Carolina during the late 19th century and 20th century.
