My behavior management plan consists of positive reinforcement and discipline for offenses.
I will be utilizing a classroom economy for management this year. Students will earn "dollars" as they complete their classroom jobs each week and jobs will change every week. The classroom currency will be spent at auctions at the end of every month. Students can also earn money by demonstrating the following attributes:
Asking for help
Helping others
On task
Participating
Persistence
Working quietly
Silent dismissal
Teamwork
Working hard
The consequence of disruptive behavior is to pay Mr. Hoeft some of the money that was earned previously.
Students are responsible for keeping their own money safe and secure. I always recommend students keep it in their bookbags rather than their desks, cubbies, etc.
