About Ms. Powell

Welcome to Riverside High School! My name is Ms. Powell and I am so excited to be your teacher this year for Human Geography or Economics! This will be my second year at Riverside High! I grew up in Greer, South Carolina and graduated from Riverside High! I am so excited and proud to be back as an alumni! After high school, I attended the University of South Carolina where I received my B.A. in History and my Masters in Teaching. In my free time I enjoy cheering for Carolina football, traveling, and hanging out with my family and friends! 

I am so passionate about my profession and I want to help each and every one of my students succeed! Together we are going to have a great semester! Again, welcome to Riverside High! Go Warriors!
