My name is Natalie Rutledge. I grew up in Greenville, SC and I remember going to all of my childhood sporting events at Heritage Park. It's so nice to be back! I graduated in 2024 with a BA in Music Education from Anderson University. During my time at Anderson University, I performed in various ensembles including the Symphony Orchestra, String Quartet, Wind Symphony, Percussion Ensemble, Worship Ensemble, and String Ensemble. I was also the recipient of the "Outstanding Music Major Bachelor of Music Education Instrumental" award. I enjoyed being a part of the National Association of Future Music Educators and going to meetings and conventions related to music education as well.
I am currently a music minister at my home church and I have been for the past 7 years. I also have a 15 year old dog named Cooper and he is the cutest dog to ever exist (I'm not biased at all). In my free time, I enjoy playing disc golf, going on hikes, spending time with my friends and family, and of course going to the amazing concerts at the peace center (ask me about $5 student tickets). I am excited to start my first year with the Hillcrest High School family. I am looking forward to seeing the places my students will go this year and all that they will accomplish. My goal is for my students to grow not only in their musicianship, but also as young adults. I can't wait to meet my orchestra family!
