Meeting Bosch Rexroth plant

Opening: breakfast, videos from last year’s competition
Intro to expectations for the season
Morgana begins with an introduction to robotics, Bosch, and her family.
Asks that parents participate if the program apart from providing transportation to and from practice.
Gave the brief history of the team which has been in existence for one year. The different competitions attended: Palmetto, Huntsville, Houston (Worlds).
Would like to raise $42,000 for the season to cover all expenses (lodging and travel). Do not know if the $10,000 just received will count toward that total or not
We are looking to start a booster club at Hillcrest High School.
Already we have a donors choose page, which be linked with the team page on the school website.
Goals: First Lego League team to sponsor
Outreach with STEM activities
Shriner’s hospital (December 6th)- Thinking about bringing the robot and visiting children in the hospital. Donate low denomination gift cards. (Fliers handed out)
Angel tree program - partner with firefighters to donate items to the needy elderly (pillows, crossword puzzles, etc.)
Kick-off is January 6th - full day event here at Bosch game reveal and start planning and strategizing. Start meeting every day except for Fridays.
Keep your grades up. This is your number one priority.
