Homework Policy
Homework may vary based on the assignments. Whenever homework is sent, it is due the next morning when students arrive. For every day it is late, I take off 10 points.
Spelling words will be sent home with the newsletter at the beginning of the week, and spelling tests will be on Friday.
Most of the homework will come from make-up work.
Make Up Work
If a student misses one day, the notes and any missing work will be provided the following day. The student can take the make-up work home to finish or put the work in the "finish later" section of their binder, which is where they can have access to the work whenever they have an opportunity to work on it in class. The make-up work will be due the following morning.
If a student misses more than one day, they will be given a make-up work folder. They will have until the end of the week to complete the work to receive full credit.

eLearning Days
Beginning in 2020, GCS can declare eLearning days when weather or road conditions threaten safety. This allows instruction to continue remotely, even though students and teachers are not physically present in our schools. Students will have 5 days to complete eLearning work before being marked absent for the day.
All work will be posted on Google Classroom or Seesaw for Chromebook access.
Chromebook Support
Visit the Chromebook Support Page if you have trouble logging in or need your
