MEET THE TEACHER 

Welcome to 3rd Grade! My name is Meghan Hewell, and I am thrilled about the upcoming school year at Summit Drive. I completed my Elementary Education degree at Southern Wesleyan University (next to Clemson, Go Tigers!) and became certified to teach 2nd-6th grade in all subjects. This marks my sixth year teaching at Summit, and 3rd grade is my favorite! In the classroom, I strive to implement social-emotional learning each day to empower students and give them the confidence to push towards their goals. 

Personally, my favorite things in life are my close family, friends, and faith. I enjoy quality time with my husband, Landon, and our two fur babies. Reading, cooking, and soaking up the outdoors are some of my favorite hobbies! Last year, my family and I were blessed to go to the Dominican Republic and dive into the Damajagua Waterfalls.
