About Me

HELLO 6TH GRADERS!!!!

Here is just a little bit about me: 

I was born in Florida, raised in Georgia, and moved here from Tennessee a little over 4 years ago. I am definitely a southern girl!!

I have been married for 33 years to my husband Dennis. I am blessed with two awesome kids and their spouses make four! My youngest is Zach (24) and his wife is Brianna. My daughter Taylor (27) is married to Tyler. I am so blessed that they have all also moved to Greenville. My 16 yr. old pup, Rascal, now lives with my son and his wife. He kept Zach company while he finished college and now he claims him as his own! I still get visits though. ;) I am blessed with two sweet little angels, Adeline and Rosie!! Being a grandmother has been so fun! 

This will be my 5th year at Hillcrest Middle as a 6th grade math teacher. I received my teaching degree from Georgia College and my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from American Intercontinental University (AIU). I am certified in Elementary Education, Middle Grades Education, and Gifted Education. This will be my 25th "First Day of School"! I have taught many different levels from Pre-k (when my babies were babies!) all the way through 8th grade!

In my free time, I love spending time with my family whenever I get the opportunity and I enjoy doing anything outdoors! I am a Dawg at heart, so you can guess what I’m doing in the fall. I always love a good adventure, love to travel, and am willing to try (almost) anything once! And most of all, I am super excited to be a part of the Wildcat family!
