I am a proud warrior who lives in Greer with my husband and two children. Our family loves swimming, lacrosse, food, Clemson, and our cats, Neville and Bellatrix. I have been teaching since 2004 and love to learn new things.
I became a teacher because I love to learn. This summer was focused on learning to gain muscle and get physically stronger.
In past summers I learned about brush calligraphy, which satisfies my need to doodle, plus my thank you cards look great ;) For about 3 years now I have been obsessed with learning the art of crochet. Natually, I moved on to learning how to knit as well.
As a young girl I spent time roller skatting, badly, in basements, but still loved it. As an adult I had a desire to basically look cool while roller skating. So I was determined to learn to roller skate backwards. After some videos and practice I learned how to skate backwards like a pro. Then, that wasn't enough, so I learned how to "moon walk" on skates and spin in a circle. More tricks to come.
For some years now I have been learning a lot about baking. It has become hobby for me and others to enjoy. Throughout my website you can enjoy pictures of desserts and crocheted items made by me.
Solving multiple types of Rubix cubes has been an accomplishment for me over the years and I love to impress my students with my solving skills. I have a box of cubes in my classroom for my students to work with if they wish.
I have ran a couple half-marathons, but think I am now sticking to shorter distance running.
Learning is my passion and I am happy to share that passion with my students!
Have questions or need to make up a test/quiz? I can meet with students during office hours. Students must notify my 24 hours in advance if they plan to attend.
