What is Environmental Science?

The AP Environmental Science course is designed to be the equivalent of a one-semester, introductory college course in environmental science . Unlike most other introductory-level college science courses, environmental science is offered from a wide variety of departments, including geology, biology, environmental studies, environmental science, chemistry, and geography.  

Students must take the AP Environmental Science Exam on Tuesday, 13 May 2025 (PM session).

My Mission

I am committed to students leaving my course able to appreciate the diversity of life on earth and how it depends on a variety of interconnected factors. I strive for my students to critically think about how their actions affect their habitats and plan ways to live their lives as positive stewards of the environment.
