About Me

Welcome to my website! 

This marks my eleventh year teaching at Pelham Road Elementary, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such a wonderful community. I truly appreciate the incredible support I receive from all of you.

My husband, Mark, and I will celebrate 25 years of marriage this September. We’ve called Greenville home for 16 years now, and I can’t imagine living anywhere else! Moving to Greenville from Atlanta, I grew up in Tampa, FL, while Mark was born and raised in England. We have two beautiful daughters, Elizabeth and Catherine. Elizabeth graduated in May from Piedmont University in Demorest, GA, and Catherine is currently studying animation at Edge Hill University in Ormskirk, England. We also have two furry companions: Zippy, a lively 13-pound ball of energy, and Pumpkin, our 3-year-old hound/shepherd mix, who keeps us entertained.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling and spending quality time with my family and friends. Elizabeth is a professional cyclist competing on an elite women’s team, and we travel across the country to support her in various races. Catherine is a talented artist pursuing her degree in animation, and I love sharing her work with my class!
