About me

I am so excited to be back at Mauldin Middle School this year!

In Washington, I taught 4 years of Computer Apps at the high school level, including Microsoft Specialist Certification courses, 9th grade Health (aahhh), and developed an Intro to Marketing Course, as well as served as the ASB Advisor and Leadership Teacher. During this time, I got Microsoft Specialist Certifications in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.

To be closer to my family, I transferred to a middle school where I taught 6th, 7th and 8th grade Intro to Computers and 8th grade Leadership for 4 years. This district was a 100% Google district so I got my Level 1 & 2 Google Teacher Certification. During this time, I also got National Board certified in Career & Technical Education (2018).

My family and I love a great adventure - so the summer of 2020, we moved from Washington State (yes, state!) to Massachusetts. We spent the first 2+ months in a camper and barely made it out...but we did it! I did a little pivot out of the classroom, and spent these years as a Technology Integration Specialist, which I loved! We spent 4 years in Worcester, MA - living, playing and exploring what we could!

Massachusetts was fun but not really our vibe, so we decided to adventure again, and have recently settled in the Greenville area. We are loving the southern hospitality, the beautiful landscapes and landmarks, and the food....yuuuuum! We are so excited to continue our adventures and explorations, and get to know the Upstate better. 

And I am SO excited to start this school year at Mauldin Middle School - Go Mustangs!
