About Mrs. Nugent
Let me start off by saying I'm so excited to begin my sixth year at Golden Strip Career Center! I'm truly passionate about the Cosmetology industry and I'm so thrilled to introduce this industry to young professionals like yourself! I've been a licensed cosmetologist for 12 years, and a licensed instructor for 10 years. I graduated Cosmetology school from R.D. Anderson, a vocational school in Spartanburg, SC. Since day one of my junior year in cosmetology I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I made it my mission ever since to learn every aspect of the business so that I could bring that knowledge back to the classroom . When I'm not in the classroom or the salon, my husband and I spend lots of time camping and traveling. My hobbies include shopping ( I love a good sale) and googling historical sites as we pass them on the freeway!
