I am so excited to be a part of Greer Middle School. This is my seventeenth year teaching. I have taught 6th grade, 5th grade, 3rd grade, and 2nd grade. I have also held the position as a Literacy Specialist.
I am from Greer, South Carolina. I attended the University of South Carolina, Go Gamecocks! At USC, I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology. After graduating, I continued my education by attending graduate school at Converse College where I received my Masters in Education. I recently added my Masters Plus 30 in Curriculum and Instruction through Liberty University. I also have my Literacy Coach and Literacy Teacher endorsements.
I am married to Will Grugan, we got married on May 5th, 2007 and we make a great team (although he graduated from Clemson =)). We have two boys and a little girl. Liam, our oldest, is going into tenth grade at Greer Middle College, Miles will be in eighth grade here at Greer Middle and Sloane will be in fifth grade at Chandler Creek Elementary. During my free time I love to go out to eat, shop, travel, watch Netflix, and I love to read.
