My name is Cheryl Bennefield and I am the Graphic Communications Instructor at Enoree Career Center. I took graphics for two years at ECC when I was a student at Wade Hampton High School which started my passion for the arts. After graduation I went on to Greenville Technical College to receive an Associates of Arts Degree with an emphasis of Graphic Design and a Art Certification with emphasis in Web Design. I did this while working full time in the school district print shop.
Immediately after college, I went through the Direct program with the state department to receive my teaching certificate. During Direct I was employed as an instructor at Hamilton Career Center in Seneca, SC. After six amazing years there, I am back home at Enoree doing what I love, in a place I've long called home. Ever since I decided to become a teacher, it was my dream job to come back to where my passion for Graphics was rooted.
I am happily married since 2008 with two of the most amazing little girls I ever could have hoped for. I continue designing and doing photography on the side and for fun and to continue my passion of the arts. It is this passion that I try to pass on to future generations every day through my classes!
