FURMAN Top Mock Dates
June 20-27, 2026
Top Mock is a highly selective program administered by Furman’s award-winning collegiate Mock Trial team. The program is designed for high school students who have competed in mock trial tournaments (particularly the Empire Tournaments, Gladiator Tournaments, State Championships, or National Championship). Top Mock participants receive a week of training and instruction from Furman’s experienced mock trial coaches and competitors. This is not a school sponsored event.
Purpose
Purpose
To together explore our common interest in the judicial system and how it operates. Mock Trial teaches critical thinking, public speaking and how to formulate a cohesive argument. We are open to all who want to participate however, you will have to stay involved and engaged.
What we do
What we do
We participate in MOCK Trial Events! This events, hosted by the YMCA Youth in Government and SCBAR Association, include various cases and opportunities. Want to try your hand at being a lawyer? Need to sharpen your acting skills? Or do you want to merge the two?
Then this is THE CLUB for you!!!
