This is my fifth year at Gateway and twelfth year of teaching. I am grateful to teach in Travelers Rest and be an active part of the community. I grew up in Southwest Michigan and received a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Michigan State University.  I am currently pursuing a Master's at Furman University. I'm fortunate to share my passion for music with students every day.  In my spare time I fiddle, sing, hike, and canoe.
