Good afternoon, Gator families,

We are heading into another important week at Rudolph Gordon, and we appreciate your continued partnership as we support our students through a busy and meaningful time of the school year.

Our students in grades 3–8 will continue with SC READY testing this week. Math testing will take place on Tuesday, May 5 for all students in grades 3–8, with Day 2 of Math testing on Wednesday, May 6 for our elementary students (grades 3–5). Our students have worked hard all year and are prepared. Thank you for helping set them up for success by ensuring they are well-rested, on time, and ready to do their best each day.

Wednesday, May 6 will include a few special opportunities for students:

• Elementary students may purchase Houni’s during lunch for $3

• Middle school students may purchase TCBY during lunch for $4 (toppings are an additional $0.50 each)

We will also celebrate School Nurses Day on May 7. We are incredibly grateful for our nurses and the care they provide to our students each and every day.

On Friday, May 8, our PTA will host a Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast. We are thankful for the many individuals who give their time to support our school. Your impact is felt across our entire community.

Finally, a reminder that all library books are due on Friday, May 8. Please take a few moments to check at home and return any outstanding books.
