Elementary school counselors support every student’s academic, social/emotional, and career development. Our goal is to help children feel safe, valued, and ready to learn.
We work with students in different ways:
Classroom lessons – teaching skills like empathy, problem solving, friendship, emotional regulation, study habits, and grit.
Small groups – providing support for students with similar needs, such as making friends, coping with stress, handling family changes, or building confidence.
Individual counseling – meeting with students one-on-one to help them work through challenges that may affect learning or well-being.
Collaboration – partnering with families, teachers, and community resources to support students in the best way possible.
