The mission of Gateway Elementary School is to provide a diverse and individualized educational environment along with experiences that develop, guide, empower and mentor students to be confident, creative, collaborative problem solvers and responsible lifelong learners. We strive to provide our students with an atmosphere that models and teaches empathy, respect, and strategies for productive problem solving and developing a growth mindset. Gateway Elementary School Counseling Mission Statement
The mission of the Gateway Elementary School Counseling Program is to provide a comprehensive, developmental school counseling program that addresses the academic, career, and social/emotional needs of all students. In partnership with educators, families, and the community, the school counseling program empowers students to be confident, creative, and collaborative problem solvers. We strive to create a safe and inclusive environment for all learners that fosters empathy, grit, and resilience. By equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and strategies necessary for success, the counseling program supports the development of responsible lifelong learners and career-ready leaders of tomorrow.
