Meet the Teacher

My name is Janet Herrera-Gantt and I am excited to teach 5^th Grade! I grew up in Spartanburg, South Carolina and moved to Charleston, South Carolina for my bachelor’s degree in International Business. I continued to live in Charleston after graduation and married my husband, Troy. Nine years ago we moved back to Greenville and had our wonderful daughter, now 8 years old, and last year we were blessed with our second daughter.

When I returned to Greenville I was not fulfilled in my work, therefore I returned to school and earned my Master of Arts in Education from Converse College. A life changing experience I am thankful for. I love spending each day with the children helping them to grow in their learning and succeed.
