I’m Mr. Gagnon (say it like Gone-yo), and I’m your ESOL teacher. I’ve been teaching for over 22 years, and I work with students who are ready to add English to the Languages they already know.
I was born in French Canada and came to the U.S. as an immigrant, so I understand what it’s like to learn a new language and adjust to a new place. I speak a little French and I’m learning Spanish — slowly but surely!
I have a degree in Social Science, a Master’s in Educational Leadership, and I’m currently working on my ESOL certification .
I love helping students become confident in English, succeed in school, and feel proud of who they are. When I’m not teaching, I’m spending time with my wife and four daughters or watching the 49ers!
