This will be my second year teaching at Eastside High School, and after an awesome first year, I am excited to continue growing with our students and community.
I graduated from USC Upstate with a B.S. in Secondary Science Education and a B.A. in Biology. I am also a recipient of the NOYCE Scholarship Grant, a national program that recognizes and supports STEM educators.
After my first year of teaching, I was honored to be nominated by Eastside High for the GCS First Class Teacher Award, which celebrates outstanding first-year teachers.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, working on house projects, and hanging out with my two cats, Pickles and Bug.
My main goal as a teacher is to help students discover their potential and develop confidence to succeed. I want every student to know that I truly care about them—not just as learners, but as people—both inside and outside of the classroom.
