Bio:

My name is Dakota Fordree, and I am so excited for my 3rd year at Blue Ridge High School as the Agriculture Teacher. I am from a little town called Six Mile, South Carolina. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Education from Clemson University. My passion for agriculture started when I enrolled in an agriculture class in high school and ever since then I have been hooked on agriculture. I can not explain how excited I am to have the opportunity to share my love of agriculture to our future generations and our wonderful community. In my free time I enjoy going to the beach, trying new foods, reading and spending time with friends and family.

A fun facts about me:

I am a certified scuba diver, and my favorite place to go scuba diving is in the crystal clear waters of Mexico.
I have a Pomeranian named Beamer.
I was on the Clemson Bass Fishing Team
I worked on a blueberry farm
I used to ride horses competitively. I rode English and competed in hunter jumpers. I also had 2 horses, Biscotti and Denali.
I was in FFA all through high school and was an officer my junior and senior year.
