About Me

My name is Doug Forbis.  I graduated high school in 2004 from Dorman High in Spartanburg.  From there, I went to the University Of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where I received my Bachelors in Kinesiology.  I attended graduate school at Converse College where I obtained my Masters in the Art of Teaching Special Education. This will be 11th year of teaching full time.  I got married to my wonderful wife Kat  in January 2017. We live in Spartanburg with our cats Sami (Orange with the green collar), Tatum (orange with blue collar), and Cassidy (Gray/Brown kitten).  My hobbies include comic books/superheroes, video games, and professional wrestling! I have two nephews and a niece I'm very proud of! I could not be more excited to be on this virtual learning adventure with you!
