About Me

My name is Doug Forbis.  I graduated high school in 2004 from Dorman High in Spartanburg.  From there, I went to the University Of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where I received my Bachelors in Kinesiology.  I attended graduate school at Converse College where I obtained my Masters in the Art of Teaching Special Education. This will be my 13th year of teaching full time.  I got married to my wonderful wife Kat  in January 2017. We live in Spartanburg with our cats Sami (Orange with the green collar), Tatum (orange with blue collar), Cassidy (Gray/Brown), and Darwin (tuxedo kitten).  My hobbies include comic books/superheroes, video games, Dungeons and Dragons, and professional wrestling! I have two nephews and a niece I'm very proud of! I could not be more excited to be on this virtual learning adventure with you!
