I am originally from Laurens, SC and attended Presbyterian College where I received my bachelors degree in Early Childhood & Elementary Education. After graduating from PC, I moved to Nashville, TN where attended Vanderbilt University and earned my masters degree in Special Education. I stayed in Nashville and  taught K-5 Special Education for 5 years before returning home to South Carolina. This is my 7th year teaching and my second year at Pelham Road Elementary.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my dog, Roo - going on boat and golf cart rides, and spending as much time outside as possible.
