Apply

All students must complete the following: 

1. Apply to FAC through Acceptd on the FAC main website.
   https://app.getacceptd.com/fineartscenter

2. Prepare and film 2 Prescreen Videos (see below)

3. Wait. If contacted, you will attend an in-person callback.

4. Results for all FAC programs will go out at the same time.

Video Recording of Monologue and Special Skill-

1. Please film and submit a video of 1 monologue from a play or musical (speaking a song from a musical is not the same thing as a monologue). It may be from any genre or any time period. Choose material that you can connect with, feel confident doing, and that shows your performance skills. No longer than 90 seconds.

2. Please also submit a second video of any other special performance-related skill, such as singing, dancing, telling jokes, a film monologue, etc. No longer than 30 seconds.

3. The material MUST be memorized and prepared to the best of your ability.

4. Please begin your monologue video by stating your name, the character, and the play/ musical your piece is from. Please begin your special skill video by stating your name and what the skill is.

5. Please check your videos for sound and lighting. 

   • 1. • Dress appropriately for the video as if it were an in-person audition. 

        • Make sure you are filming yourself straight on (not from an angle). 

        • As best you can, have a neutral background. (Don't film yourself in front of a window). 

        • Please stand or use a chair while you are performing your piece.  

        • Please film yourself from the knees up or full body. 

        • Most of all, have fun and show your personality!

October 1 - January 15: 

• FAC application is open through Acceptd, starting October 1. New applicants MUST complete the application and prescreen materials by January 15. 

• Those who advance to final callbacks will receive an email notification by January 28.

February 7, 14, and/ or 28: 

• Final Callbacks (Schedule TBA) during our FAC Audition Days.

March 11: 

Results released to all applicants.
