I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, but have lived in South Carolina ever since deciding to attend Furman in 1991.

I've been teaching at Hillcrest since 1999. I teach AP Environmental Science, Earth Science, Anatomy/Physiology, and Biology.

The goal for my classes this year is for my students to leave with a better understanding of how the world around them works.

My hobbies include hiking, yoga, exercise, reading, travel, attending concerts, and watching soccer (Manchester City) and football (Penn State/Seattle Seahawks)
