Behavioral Expectations
This course will involve direct instruction by the teacher with student interaction and group work. Our classroom will have a positive atmosphere for learning. Students should follow all classroom rules for behavior and dress found in the Student Agenda. Additional information pertaining to classroom expectations will be communicated to students and parents.
CLASS EXPECTATIONS:
Our NEW SCHOOLWIDE and SCHOOL DISTRICT CELL PHONE RULE!!
There will be NO CELL PHONE USE IN THIS CLASS AT ALL to PROTECT OUR INSTRUCTION TIME!!
Students must report to class on time daily with all of the necessary materials.
“FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION”
CLASSROOM RULES AND PROCEDURES:
*Enter the class quietly and ready to work.
*Treat others respectfully, as you wish to be treated.
*Cell phones must be put away during instruction, IN BOOKBAGS, UNDER DESKS, POCKETS or PURSES ! Students may NOT pull cell phones out to look at the time. They can look at their chrome books and/or the classroom clock to view the time.
*Students will follow the 15/15 Rule.
BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS:
Arrive to class with all necessary materials each day and begin on the bell ringer at your seat.
Do not engage in activity that is disruptive to the class, disrespectful to others or destructive in any way.
Be respectful to me as well as your fellow classmates when they are speaking, do not interrupt or speak over people.
Follow all classroom rules and procedures and all rules set out in the student handbook.
CONSEQUENCES:
Verbal Warning and Parent contact
Second Parent contact
Referral
Removal from class (this serves as notification prior to referral on 3rd offense)
*Dangerous or extremely disruptive behavior will result in an immediate removal from class.
