About the teacher!

My name is Emilie Westmoreland and this is my 12th year teaching. I taught the past five years in the virtual program and am so excited to be back for another year! I spent the previous six years at Fisher Middle School and at Northwest Middle School.  I am a graduate from Faulkner University where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and from Clemson University where I earned a Master of Arts in Teaching Middle Grades.  I was born and raised in Greenville County and I am a die hard Clemson fan! When I'm not at school I love to spend time outdoors with my husband, daughter and our golden retriever Scout. 

My teaching philosophy is simple.  I believe that all students can learn if given the opportunity.  That means there must be a healthy relationship between the student, teacher, and parent.  If we work as a team, we will win as a team!
