Welcome to my website!  My name is Mr. Joseph J. Stowe.  I am married with four adult daughters and seven grandchildren. The safety, academics, growth, achievement of goals and community support for our developing young people are at the top of my priority list! 

I became a certified educator upon completion of my bachelor's degree at NC A&T State University.  NC A&T is also my father's alma mater, where he obtained his first teaching degree in the 1950's.  During my twenty-five years of service, I have served as an art educator in North Carolina and South Carolina.  This is my eighteenth year as a building level administrator and most recently I completed my Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree at Furman University.  

I look forward to continuing my educational journey with the Ellen Woodside community and helping our children achieve their goals.  The journey has been great, and shall continue...
