Ernest Burgess. I have lived in Greenville my entire life. However, my family comes from Charleston, SC. I graduated J. L. Mann High School and Newberry College. I really do consider it a great opportunity to serve students as a teacher.
My Philosophy is...
that I enjoy the discovery process of education. In other words, I believe students should be given the necessary information to draw conclusions and then be able to derive the answers. Then, beyond that, students should be able to either choose or present the proper outcomes of their conclusions.
Your students will tell you that, "I EXPECT them to use their INTELLECT." We work to begin the ongoing process of mind discipline and focus. The concept of lifelong learning is driven by the discipline of lifelong thinking.
I believe my students should access their thinking ability to complete the work assigned.
