Hello! My name is Emma Draney, and this is my 4th year at Berea High School. I teach the following courses: Instrumental Band, Choir, Beginning Band, and Music Theory.  I am also the head director of the Berea High School Green Machine Marching Band.  Anything music related, I am your go to! I recently graduated with my Masters in Music Education from Anderson University in May 2023, and I attended Limestone College for my undergrad where I graduated with degrees in both Music Education and Psychology in 2019. Outside of Berea, I work with Palmetto Indoor Theatre and Percussion as a member of the visual and administrative staff. I also play in the Converse University Wind Ensemble as a community member. My primary instrument is the flute, and I have been in various ensembles throughout my music career. Some of my past music experiences include marching indoor percussion, doing a concert tour around Germany with the LU choir, performing with steel pan ensembles, and so much more. Outside of the music world, you can catch me on the lake in my boat. I absolutely love to be on the water and to fish!  I am very excited to be sharing my love for music with all of you!
