Since graduating from Presbyterian College in 1998, I have been dedicated to teaching middle-level mathematics. I began my career at Hughes Academy and my alma mater, Riverside High, where I also coached Varsity Volleyball and C-Team Basketball. In 1999, I moved to Riverside Middle School as a 7th-grade math teacher. While I continued coaching at Riverside High, I transitioned to coaching at Riverside Middle once middle school athletic teams were established.
In the spring of 2004, I took a seven-year break to be a stay-at-home mom to my two boys. During this time, I tutored and worked as a home-bound teacher for middle and high school students. In 2011, I returned to Riverside Middle School as a full-time math teacher. Since my return, I have taught 7th and 8th-grade students, though I no longer coach. My boys are both studying at Clemson University. I spend most of my downtime playing Pickleball with my husband of 25 years and my dear friends.
