Ms.Edwards

Hi! 

I am Ms. Edwards! This is my first year at Hughes Academy. I taught K-8th visual arts for 3 years. I am so excited to join the cougar team!

I was born and raised in Columbia, SC. I earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA) and a minor in educational studies at Winthrop University in Rock Hill. Currently, I am in the Converse Teaching Alternative Certification Program. I am also an alumna of the SC Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities in Greenville, SC. 

When I am not at school, I enjoy listening to podcasts and Beyonce, taking long scenic walks, visiting art museums and trying new ice cream spots. 

I'm looking forward to a wonderful school year!
