Each of these jobs are all related back to automation. The equipment found in industrial plants and amusement parks are made from the same source of products found in most automated systems. As production demands require more products, automation enables these location to accomplish these high demands. The management of resources have changed in industrial facilities due to the addition of more automation and less manpower. These new circumstances require that management and understanding of automation is an all time high. Placement of Mechatronics trained individuals seeking promotional consideration has been the tread over the past years. The Mechatronics career path offers the opportunity for machine design, repair, or managing your companies process through managerial roles that are sure to challenge many. Job flexibility and pay has never been at the level found today. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median pay for a Mechatronics Technologist with an associates degree is $59,800/year and the median pay for a Mechanical Engineer is $90,160/year.
