I am a hometown girl! My family has lived in the area for my entire life. I attended Clemson University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Secondary English Education in 2004. In 2007, I graduated from Clemson with my Masters of Arts in English Literature. This is my 22nd year of classroom teaching, and my first year at Mauldin High!
I decided to become a high school English teacher because of the incredible teachers I had in high school. Also, I love working with teenagers--I think the teenage years are the most fun part of your life!
My husband and I live in Mauldin. We have two children, Brady & Grace, who are kind of the best thing ever.
