About Me

My name is Barbie Beadles and this is my second “career” and my eighth year as a teacher. My first career was being a mom to two great boys, but they have grown up. My oldest son is a Clemson grad who studied Civil Engineering. He currently works at Skywark Engineering in Atlanta as an Industrial Engineer. He gets to work on awesome projects in the Atlanta area, and gets to see lots of homes of famous people who live there. He also loves biking and you can often find him riding his bike through the mountains of Georgia any time he gets. My second son is a Clemson grad and studied Materials Engineering. After being in Hong Kong in the fall of 2017 doing camp work, and then teaching at a science center in WY, and then traveling in Alaska for the summer, he decided he wanted to share his love for science and teach. He will be teaching at Keystone Science School in Keystone, Colorado for the 2018-19 school year.

So an empty nest was supposed to be in my future. But God had other plans for me and my husband. On Mother’s Day of 2010 we delivered our third son! He was due on our 20^th wedding anniversary in June though, and that has made for some fun conversations. Needless to say, we have laughed our way through the last eight years!

I am thrilled to be headed into my eighth year of teaching Early Childhood Education at Golden Strip Career Center. It has been the perfect place for me as a teacher. I couldn’t have picked a better place to work.
