Welcome to 5th grade! I am Miss Dyson, and I am so excited to be your student’s teacher this year! This will be my second year teaching but my first year at Ellen Woodside. I taught 4th Grade last year at a school in Spartanburg District 5. I graduated from Clemson University with my Bachelors in Elementary Education. Go Tigers! I have lived in the Upstate of South Carolina for most of my life, and I knew that I wanted to stay here after college. I got engaged to my amazing fiance this past February, and we will be getting married in February of 2026! We have a 3-year-old Miniature Dachshund named Winnie and a 1-year-old Golden Retriever named Ruby. In my free time I enjoy reading, watching cooking and game shows, playing board games and spending time with friends and family. I am so glad to have your student in my class! It is going to be an amazing year!
