Hi! My name is Amy Eldridge. This is my sixth year teaching at Heritage. I am a second career teacher. I earned my first degree in Mechanical Engineering at Greenville Technical College. While homeschooling my two sons for K-2nd and 6th-8th grades, I realized I have a passion for teaching. I returned to school and earned a degree in Elementary Education at Western Governors University. In addition to 5th grade, I have also taught 2nd grade. I love incorporating technology and student interest in lessons.
I have lived my entire life here in beautiful northern Greenville County. My husband John and I have two sons, C.J and Eli. Our family includes two fur babies, Luke the cat and Izik the dog! Besides teaching, I also enjoy fishing, riding ATVs, gardening, DIY projects and spending time with my family.
Some of my favorite things are Amazon, Texas Roadhouse, chocolate covered peanuts and pecans, and fruity scented soaps.
I am grateful to be teaching at Heritage and delighted to be your child’s teacher. I look forward to a school year filled with learning and fun! I am happy to answer any questions you may have so please reach out via email.
