Hello!
My name is Dan Vanaman. This will be my 8th year teaching and my 4th year at Riverside High School. I will be teaching co-teaching Algebra 1, Geometry, and Prob and Stats this year. I was born and raised in Clarkston, Michigan where I married my high school sweetheart. While in Michigan, I worked as a paraprofessional in the Learning Resource Center(LRC) Program for 2 years and then was moved to the Post-High School Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Program where I worked for an additional 3 years. I graduated from Liberty University with a Masters of Arts in Teaching Special Education in May 2017. Outside of school, I enjoy playing a variety of sports, going to the gym, and spending time with friends and family. I look forward to challenging my students to perform their best work every day this year!
