Expectations
Educational Support is an elective course and counts as 1 of your 7 required electives for graduation.
EXPECTATIONS
1. Be kind, courteous and respectful to others.
Do not talk while another presenter is speaking in the room.
Keep your hands to and feet to yourself at all times.
2. Be in the room when the tardy bell rings.
3. Be prepared for class every single day.
Have a charged computer, sharpened pencil, and a willing attitude before class begins.
Be prepared with questions from the previous night's class or homework.
4. PAY ATTENTION and TRY YOUR BEST.
Any materials unnecessary for that day's class should be out of sight. (This includes, but is not limited to, cellphones, iPods, reading books, etc.)
Do not put your head down under any circumstance; there's always energy to try!
TARDIES
If you are late to class, please enter quietly and walk to your desk without interrupting anyone else. Leave your note on your desk, and I will come by to talk with you.
After your 4th and 5th tardies, you will have one hour of after-school detention, and your parents will be informed.
After your 6th tardy, you will be referred to our Principal.
Leaving class to go to the bathroom, drinking fountain, or your locker counts as a time out of class. Those are things you should do between classes.
ABSENCES
If you must be absent from class, make arrangements ahead of time to make up a test, quiz, or assignment that you will miss during that class day.
You have 5 school-days to make up missed work.
You must bring in an excuse slip from the office after being absent from class.
