Dr. Emily Tyler

I am so excited to be teaching science at Lakeview Middle! I have always loved science and I hope to show students how fun and exciting science can be. This will be my 10th year in the science classroom and I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science (6th grade is my favorite! :). A Greenville native, I'm proud to have graduated from Eastside High School before pursuing my undergraduate studies at Clemson University, where I earned a degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology. I went on to earn my Master's of Education and most recently my Doctorate in Educational Leadership. As a lifelong learner, I hope to instill a love for learning, courage to ask questions, and a desire for solving problems within all of my students.
