A native of the Upstate, Dr. Shane Robertson has taught elementary general music and honor choir, high school chorus, and at the university level. Dr. Robertson earned his bachelor’s degree in music with an emphasis in piano performance from Limestone College, a master’s in music education from the University of Montana, a doctorate in music education from the University of Georgia.  Dr. Robertson also earned a graduate certificate in educational leadership and supervision from Wingate University and an Ed.S. in educational administration with a cognate in literacy education from the University of South Carolina. 

While at Limestone, Robertson was actively involved in all musical ensembles and the theatre department. Dr. Robertson has presented research and conducted professional development sessions at district, state, and national conferences. Other activities unrelated to his musical and educational pursuits include spending time with family and friends, hiking in the mountains, riding rollercoasters, and traveling.
