Classroom Rules:
Disrespect: Either shown to a teacher or peer which may include vulgar language, talking during instruction or refusal to obey. Disrespect is not tolerated in my classroom in any way. This rule if broken will result in an immediate administrative referral and a call home.
Personal electronic devices or (PED): Technology is encouraged in Mr. Dunaway's classroom; however, the use of cell phones, air pods, headphones, earbuds, ipads and any other electronic device not permitted by Mr. Dunaway or Greenville county schools is forbidden. Results of breaking this rule include but are not limited to a verbal or non-verbal warning, parent conference, and administrative referral which may include in school or out of school detention.
I dismiss class: If you decide to skip class, or leave class prior to me dismissing you which includes wandering the halls. Failure to follow this rule will result in a parent conference and administrative referral.
Disorderly conduct: My classroom has an order and that order is to be followed. Students are to come in take their assigned seat prior to the beginning of class. Students should visit the pencil sharpener, or restroom before the class bell. No wandering around the room and visiting friends, and do not ask to use the restroom in the middle of Mr. Dunaway's instruction. These actions are disruptive to the flow of the class and will result in a verbal or non verbal warning. Further problems will result in parent conference and administrative referral.Â
