I was born and raised in Nice, France.
I graduated from Kansas State University where I received my Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry. I have taught various Chemistry courses at Kansas State University as well as at the University of South Carolina where I also taught Biology courses.
My 17 year old son is a Freshman in College. He runs track and field, and is 3rd degree black belt and instructor in taekwondo. He plays clarinet.
ZigZag is our 7 year old cat. She is very sweet and follows me around like a dog. ZigZag loves hunting crickets!
